SOMA Microchip Scanners
with All Paws In
Microchips are one of the most reliable tools for reuniting lost pets — but when a pet is found, the finder is often referred to a local veterinarian to have the chip scanned. That assumes the vet’s office is open, and that the finder can safely transport an animal they’ve just met.
We’re partnering with All Paws In to create a community-wide network of trained volunteers who have a scanner, can be alerted when a chip scan is needed, and will respond if available.
Curious how microchips work and what info they carry? (It’s probably less than you think.) Check out this FAQ from the American Veterinary Association.
