Not local, but lovely, and perfect for those who love to hibernate in winter with a craft. Loose Ends aims to ease grief, create community, and inspire generosity by matching volunteer handwork finishers with textile projects people have left undone due to death or disability. Knit, crochet, sewing, quilting, cross-stitch and much more, Loose Ends welcomes crafters of all sorts, from anywhere in the world. Cougar Cares presents weekly dinner deliveries! This is an amazing project that’s one of the best kept secrets in the area. Why? Because the recipients are SOMSD families served confidentially, and the business supporting the families prefers to do so privately. Volunteers pick up dinners in Maplewood village Tuesdays at 3:30 and deliver to SOMA homes. Deliveries are typically complete within the hour, but your car may smell delicious for longer. Because this includes SOMDS students, no one under 18 may participate (even as a passenger). https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C44A8A928A3FBC70-tuesday#/
